"My site is live, and I have a blog page. Now what?"
Blogs can be used for many purposes, from sharing tips and tricks to telling success stories. A blog can live as its own independent page, or it can be embedded in another page on your website.
The best part? You don't need to be a website designer to add new posts to your blog. Here's how to do it:
Step One - Navigate
Log into Wix and go to your Dashboard.
On the left-side panel, hover over "Blog" and click "Posts".
From here, you will be able to see all posts that are published, drafted, and scheduled.
If you allow your audience to post on your blog, you'll see their posts in the "pending review" tab for you to approve prior to publishing.

Step Two - Create
To create a post from scratch, click "Create New Post" in the top-right-hand corner. To create a post from a template, click "More Actions", then "Create post from template".
If you decide to create a post from a template, select the template from the options on the left, then click "Use This Template" on the top right-hand side to edit.

Step Three - Write
Write your post! Begin typing in the designated areas, and add elements using the "Add" button on the left bar. You can add images, galleries, videos, and files, and event share links to products, events, and services promoted on your website.
Wix will automatically save your post, but make sure to click the "Save" button on the top-right-hand corner every few minutes, just in case. You can save the post as a draft and return to it at any time.

Step Four - Publish
Once your post is complete, click "Settings" on the left bar to edit how it appears on your blog page. Add a featured image to display with your post title, along with the writer's name and a short excerpt.

Once you have finished editing the settings, you're ready to publish! Click "Publish" on the top-right-hand corner to make the post live on your site, or click the three dots beside it to schedule the post for later.
All posts can be edited after publishing by visiting the "Posts" page on your Dashboard, hovering over the post you'd like to edit, and clicking "Edit."
Voila! You're a writer!
